As a female, I have been called by and answered to, many  labels and descriptors.  Some have vanished from our politically correct vocabulary as well they should have; others, however, have cropped up and taken their place, only to be disparaged enough that they are now uttered by the truly brave or truly ignorant.

OLD SCHOOL AA

In about three weeks, I’ll celebrate 25 years in recovery. I look back in utter amazement and gratitude, often humbled by the spiritual family that cared enough, and loved me enough, to call me out on my BS. I was raised old school AA ―structure, traditions, service positions, always involved in some fashion.
